Engaging with students at Disney II Magnet School
April 12, 2023: I met virtually with 1st graders from the Disney II Magnet School. It was a delight sharing my children's book, "I See U" with them and explaining the inspiration behind my advocacy efforts with Project I See U. The students asked insightful questions and shared their personal experiences of having a sibling with an illness or disability.
Thank you to Ms. Murphy and her students for all of the thoughtful questions and the opportunity to connect.
I truly had a great time and I'm so glad you all could relate to Leah (I See U's main character) and her story!
